Rainy Season
”Only a select few are able to see the true beauty that lies behind what just might seem like a rainy day or a grey sky.” – Jessica M. Laar
Season of water that comes after the hot and humid Summers telling and sometimes screaming to appreciate all the old and obvious, that it takes both good and bad, highs and lows to grow, strive and thrive. This is the season where nature reveals its beauty in spades from cloudy skies, weather that is just right neither too hot nor too cold , pouring heaven, spectacular light show across the skies, booming thunder, and colorful cities and a overall refreshing atmosphere.
Perhaps this is the season of bathing of Earth of all its grime and impurities. When it rains it feels as if nature is receiving its fuel for replenishment. Standing in the rain is a different experience every time, sometimes the drops are gentle caressing from the gods while the other times it's like a thousand needles piercing through the body may be to wash away all our negativity, doubts, and insecurities and all the things stopping us to become a better version.
How amazing and truly wonderful that the temperature of lightning and the surrounding air is around 30,000 degrees celsius and here we on the ground enjoy the scenic skies unaffected.
The rain has music for those who listen. It has the acceptance of what we are and more. An outstanding show of nature - Rainbow maybe conveying big or small, poor or rich, black or white , sad or happy or any other colors everyone is beautiful and accepted by Mother Earth.
A Day to sing, dance, jump and skid if only we take a pause from all our problems and reasons telling No and just let out our hidden child and its childish ways for just one reason - a moment to enjoy, cleanse, let go and become carefree for a while.
No matter what for once in a while we can slow down and appreciate the beauty we are surrounded and live in and maybe and maybe the rains, the earth, nature has all the answers we are looking so hard for ...
These is one of the pictures that I shot last year from the terrace which is actually a pretty good place.
